Lake Mburo National Park is located west of Uganda and is the closest amongst all national Parks of Uganda.
BWINDI IMPENTRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Located in South-western Uganda is home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas situated along the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) border next to the Virunga National Park and on the edge of the Albertine Rift.
There mainly four sectors in this park namely Buhoma Sector, Ruhija Sector, Rushaga sector and Nkuringo sector in the North, East, South &West respectively.

DETAILED ITINERARY
0700hrs
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your overnight accommodation and will embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park; on arrival here, you will check into your accommodation.
Later dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Elephant Plains Lodge.
Activities: Stop over at the equator.
Driving time: Upto 7.5hrs
0630hrs
After an early morning coffee and with packed breakfast, you will head to the park; here you will begin your lion tracking experience.
Depending on how long the game drive takes, you will head to the breakfast area overlooking one of the salt Lakes in the park for a Rolex meal.
After breakfast, you will return to the lodge for your lunch.
Later after lunch, you will relax and later head on for a sundowner on the famous Kazinga Channel.
Kazinga Channel; in Uganda is a wide, 32-kilometre long natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George, and a dominant feature of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Depending how long the cruise takes, you will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your overnight accommodation and will embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with lunch enroute; On arrival here, you will check into your accommodation.
Enroute will be a stopover at the equator and lunch at the Igongo Cultural center and Museum
Later you will have your dinner & overnight.

Activities: N/A
Driving time: Upto 6hrs.

After breakfast, you will head for a short drive to the briefing area; here you will be briefed by a Park ranger about and thereafter begin your Gorilla trekking activity; this should last you about 6-8hrs.
Depending on how long the trekking will take, you will return to meet with your guide/driver and thereafter head for a short drive back to the lodge.
On arrival you will freshen up and later have dinner and overnight.
