SAFARI TOUR SUMMARY

Day 1:

  • Jinja Source of the Nile visit, with Mabira Forest Walk Enroute.

  • Breakfast, with lunch Enroute you will be transferred to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 8:

  • On-foot Rhino tracking, thereafter you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.
  • Lunch, then do a boat cruise then hike to the top of the Murchison Falls.
  • Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 9:

  • Early morning game drive, lunch Enroute.
  • Transfer to Kibale National Park, then dinner & overnight.

Day 10:

  • With breakfast at the Lodge, you will spend morning at leisure.
  • Afternoon chimpanzee tracking, then dinner & overnight.

Day 11:

  • Morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, lunch.
  • After noon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
  • Return to lodge for dinner & overnight.

Day 12:

  • Early morning Experiential game drive, Rolex meal.
  • Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
  • Dinner & overnight.

Day 13:

  • Early morning briefing, then gorilla trekking.
  • Spend afternoon at leisure, then dinner & overnight.

Day14.

After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

On arrival, check into your accommodation, then dinner & overnight.

Day15:

  • Morning game drive, then lunch.
  • Afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo.
  • Return to the lodge for dinner & overnight.

Day 16:

  • Breakfast plus lunch Enroute, you will be transferred to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will then be picked up your guide and will be transferred to your overnight accommodation in Kampala.

Accommodation: Villa Kololo.

Driving Time: Upto 2hrs.

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide; here you will begin your tour of Kampala.

You will visit all the Kampala attractions including; the Uganda Museum, Bahai temple, Namirembe Cathedral (Oldest & larges church in Uganda), Ghaddafi Mosque (Largest Mosque), the Kabaka`s Palace, Kabaka`s Parliament, On-foot market visit and later visit on of the fishing villages.

You will end the day with a Tilapia Meal at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

Later you will be driven back to your accommodation.

Activities: Kampala City Tour

Driving time: upto 4hrs.

Early morning after your breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Jinja for a source of the Nile Visit, Enroute will be a mini walk in Mabira Forest.

Later after lunch, you will hit the road to arrive in Sipi with a visit to Itanda Waterfalls Enroute.

On arrival, you will head for the sunset viewpoint for spectacular views of the sunset. Later you will check into your accommodation for your dinner & overnight.

Accommodation: Sipi River Lodge.

Activities: Source of the Nile visit, Mabira Forest walk, Itanda waterfalls visit, sunset views.

Driving time: Upto 6hrs.

After your breakfast, you will visit the three waterfalls in Sipi with a local guide from the area; thereafter you will return to the Lodge for Lunch.

After lunch, you will head out for a coffee tour; here you will meet with one of the local Arabica coffee farmers who will take you through the process of how coffee ends up in your cup.

You will during this our visit a coffee plantation, explore coffee as crop and later the processing and drinking experience of the final product.

Later you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sipi plus spectacular views of the sunset and thereafter return to the Lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Early morning, after breakfast & with lunch Enroute you will embark on a journey to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Kidepo Valley National Park; is a 1,442 square kilometres national park in the Karamoja region in northeast Uganda. Kidepo is rugged savannah, dominated by the 2,750 metres Mount Morungole and transected by the Kidepo and Narus rivers.

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for dinner & overnight.

Accommodation: Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

Activities: N/A.

Driving time: Upto 6.5hrs.

With an early breakfast, you will begin your morning game drive.
On your morning game drive expect to encounter numerous wildlife i.e. birds, reptiles, animals etc.

Depending on how long your game drive takes, you will return to your accommodation for lunch.

After lunch, you do an afternoon game drive; for this particular game drive expect to encounter with the same wildlife as was during the morning game drive, even much better plus more that was not seen in the morning.

Later, depending on what else you see and how long the game drive takes, you will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and with lunch Enroute, you will embark on a journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home of the Rhinos.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary; is a private, non-profit, animal sanctuary in Uganda. It proudly harbours Uganda`s endangered Rhinos.

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for your dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Amuka Lodge.

With breakfast, you will star your day with a quick briefing to start your On-foot Rhino tracking.

Heated with the tragic history, fear, and excitement, we followed a ranger on foot to track down our first white rhinos.
After the tracking you will embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park.

Murchison Falls National Park: Covering an area of 3,893 km2 this particular park sits s on the shore of Lake Albert, in northwest Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop.

On arrival, you will have a quick lunch and thereafter do a boat cruise on the Nile. Expect to see numerous wildlife during this experience i.e. reptiles, animals and birds etc.

You will after this experience be dropped at the bottom of the falls; here you will meet with your ranger who will guide you through the hike to the top of Murchison Falls.

At the top, you will share photo moments and thereafter meet with your driver/guide who will transfer you to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Murchison River Lodge.

Activities: On-foot Rhino tracking, Boat Cruise on the Nile, hike to the top falls.

Driving time: 3.5hrs.

With packed breakfast, you will hit the road for your morning game drive in the park.

Expect to encounter numerous wildlife i.e. animals, birds and reptiles and depending on how long the drive takes and what you see, you will embark on a journey to Kibale National Park.

Kibale National Park; is a national park in Western Uganda, protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 square kilometres in size and is located between 1,100 metres to 1,600 metres in elevation, this forest is known for harbouring primates e.g. the Chimpanzees & black and white colobus monkeys, numerous bird species and Forest elephants.

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for your dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Turaco treetops.

Activities: Early Morning Game drive.

Driving time: Upto 7hrs.

Breakfast Spend morning at leisure.

Later after lunch, you will head for the briefing area; here you will begin your Chimpanzee trekking activity.

Expect to see numerous wildlife i.e. primates, birds etc watch out for special encounters of the forest elephants.

Later after the trekking, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Turaco treetops.

Activities: Chimpanzee trekking.

Driving time: upto 1hrs.

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park: Occupying an area of 1,978 km2, this National Park is located in Fort Portal-Mpondwe Road, Rubirizi. It was established in 1952 and named after Queen Elizabeth II

On arrival, you will have lunch and thereafter do an afternoon boat Cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel; in Uganda is a wide, 32-kilometre long natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George, and a dominant feature of Queen Elizabeth

Depending on What you see, you will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Simba Safari Camp.

Activities: Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel.

Driving time: Upto 3.5hrs.

Early morning, with a cup of coffee, you hit the road to drive to Katunguru gate, Queen Elizabeth National Park; here you will meet with your Local Guide who will take you through your Experiential game Drive.

Depending on how long the drive takes, you will break for a Rolex Meal and thereafter return to the lodge to freshen up and later embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park: The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and many birds such as hornbills and turacos. It is most notable for the 400 Bwindi gorillas, half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas. 14 habituated mountain gorilla groups are open to tourism in four different sectors of Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and the Nkuringo in the Districts of Kanungu, Kabale and Kisoro respectively all under the management of Uganda Wildlife Authority.

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for your dinner and overnight.

Driving time: 4.6hrs.

After breakfast you will attend briefing and thereafter begin your gorilla trekking experience; this might last you about 3-6hrs.

After the trekking, you will return to the Lodge for your lunch.

After lunch, you will spend the afternoon/evening at leisure and thereafter you will have your dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp.

Activities: Gorilla Trekking.

Driving time: Upto 2hrs.

After breakfast you will embark on a journey to Lake Mburo National Park.

Lake Mburo National Park; is a national park located in western Uganda in Lyantonde covering an area of 260 km2

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for dinner & overnight.

Accommodation: Rwakobo Rock

Activities: N/A.
Driving time: Upto 6hrs

After breakfast, you will do morning game; expect to see numerous wildlife from the Rothschild Giraffe to Zebras to different bird species.

Depending on how long the experience takes, you will return to the lodge for lunch.

After Lunch, you will do a boat cruise on Lake Mburo National Park; expect to see numerous wildlife.

After the experience, you will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.
