The 7 days stunning wildlife safari tour is designed to let travellers with limited time to explore Uganda`s top big 5 wildlife and chance to discover the two top primates in Uganda i.e. Chimpanzees and Gorillas.

This Safari in Uganda advances to various destinations i.e. Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and the only Rhino Sanctuary in Uganda home to the endangered Rhinos.

From exciting game drives (normal and experiential), a hike o the top of Murchison Falls and on foot Rhino tracking, this safari in Uganda gives all kinds of travellers a chance to trek and glance at the Gorillas and chimpanzees in Uganda.

SAFARI TOUR SUMMARY

Day 1:

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.

Transfer to your accommodation in Kampala, dinner & overnight.

Day 2:

  • Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, On-foot Rhino tracking.
  •  Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, afternoon boat cruise.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Arrival time to be communicated.

Depending on the arrival of your flight you will be picked up from the airport to be transferred to your overnight accommodation in Kampala.
Accommodation: Bushpig. Activities: N/A.

Driving time: upto 2.5hrs.

Early morning after breakfast, you will start your safari in Uganda with a journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary; is a private, non-profit, animal sanctuary in Uganda. It proudly harbours Uganda`s endangered Rhinos.

On arrival, you will start with a briefing on tracking. The briefing will feature how to behave when you get close to these animals, and thereafter the on-foot tracking will begin and should last you about 2 hours.

After the trek, with a packed lunch, you will embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
Murchison Falls National Park: Covering an area of 3,893 km2 this particular park sits s on the shore of Lake Albert, in northwest Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop.

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation and head on straight for a boat cruise on the Nile; here expect to encounter numerous wildlife including birds, mammals, reptiles etc.

The Boat shall take you to the bottom of Murchison falls; here you will meet with a ranger who will guide you through your hike to the top of Murchison Falls.

At the top of the falls, you will share photo moments and later meet with your driver/guide who will transfer you to your accommodation for your dinner and overnight accommodation.

Accommodation: Kabalega Wilderness Lodge.
Activities: On-foot Rhino tracking, afternoon boat cruise on the Nile, Hike to the top of Murchison Fall
Driving time: Upto 6.3hrs.

After a cup of coffee and with packed breakfast, you will be transferred to the park; here you will begin you early morning game drive expecting to encounter numerous wildlife including birds, mammals, reptiles etc.

Depending on how long the drive takes and what you see, you will return from the park and thereafter embark on a journey to Kibale National Park.

Kibale National Park; is a national park in Western Uganda, protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 square kilometres in size and is located between 1,100 metres to 1,600 metres in elevation, this forest is known for harbouring primates e.g. the Chimpanzees & black and white colobus monkeys, numerous bird species and Forest elephants.

With lunch Enroute, you will arrive at your accommodation and arrival, you will check into your accommodation and thereafter you will enjoy your dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Turaco treetops.

Activities: Early morning Game drive. Driving time: upto 7hrs.

Early morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kibale Park headquarters; here you will be briefed on your next activity.

After the briefing you will begin your Chimpanzee trekking; depending on how long it takes you will return to the lodge to freshen up and thereafter embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park: Occupying an area of On arrival you will check into your accommodation and thereafter have lunch.

Accommodation: Simba Safari Camp.
Activities: Chimpanzee tracking, Evening sundowner on Kazinga channel. Driving time: 4hrs

Early morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Katunguru gate, queen Elizabeth National Park; here you will meet with your ranger who guide you through your experiential game drive.

Depending on how long the drive takes, you will return to the lodge to freshen up and thereafter embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park: The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and many birds such as hornbills and turacos. It is most notable for the 400 Bwindi gorillas, half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas. 14 habituated mountain gorilla groups are open to tourism in four different sectors of Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and the Nkuringo in the Districts of Kanungu, Kabale and Kisoro respectively all under the management of Uganda Wildlife Authority.

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for your dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp

Activities: Experiential Game drive. Driving time: upto 10hrs.

After breakfast, you will head straight to the briefing point; here you will start your morning activity, Gorilla trekking.

Depending on how long the trek takes, you will embark on a journey to Habuharo Island.

On arrival, you will check into your accommodation and thereafter have your dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Heritage Lodge Habuharo.
Activities: Gorilla Trekking.
Driving time: upto 4hrs

After breakfast, you will cruise to the mainland; here you will meet with your driver and thereafter you will embark on a journey to Kampala

Lunch will be Enroute at the Equator.
